English Tempo Brochure

Vidal & Son's Tempo Works factory in Hamburg fell into the British Occupation Zone of Germany after the Second World War. The British therefore facilitated export of Tempo trucks to the UK. They sold reasonably well, thanks to their robustness, low price, and low maintenance costs. This English dealership brochure is undated but we can assume it is between 1950 and 1956.

1936 Tempo Brochure

In 1936 Tempo’s range comprised the three wheeled E200 & E400, powered by a 200cc and 400 cc two stroke engine respectively, and the newly introduced four wheeled E600, powered by – you guessed it – a 600cc two stroke engine.
Various body options were available, including passenger sedan versions.

1950 Tempo Hanseat Teilelist

This Tempo Hanseat teilelist, or parts list, is a virtual assembly guide and therefore absolutely priceless for a restoration project.  This list is from 1950 and is in German.  It's extremely long so I won't post all the text.   If you need details of any item, please don't hesitate to contact me.
